Last post for this week. I think I’m getting a template/format down for this. Really liking Substack as a writing platform. I hope y’all haven’t minded the move and my experimenting with formatting. The experimenting and learning from it will continue. See yesterday’s rant on the Scientific Method. I think it’s also a good way to approach life. I’m a weird freak though!

I’ll start with Schwarzie’s Section since he demands at least a weekly contribution. 😎

Da newestz sayin from Jannaz is “Schwarzie I know you think you can fly and are invincible, but, you need to be more careful! I am worried you’re going to hurt yourself!” So I attemptz to jumpz over bothz the end tablez wit lamp and odder stuffz and the sidez of da couch. Dis failed and I crashez. I okeyday doh. Da hoomanz all concernedz dat Iz injured myselfz. I iz finez! I iz Super Schwarzie! Den dey putz more treatz in my food bowlz and I eatz it all! Den I feelz veryz tiredz and sleepeez. I tinkz deez da calmin treetz dat da doggie doctor saiz for durin my heartz wormz treatmentz. Dis not fair!

We are not drugging Schwarzie! Once he starts his heart worm shot protocol later this month, he needs to remain calm and rest. I joked with the vet that he’d need to be sedated to do that. She explained it’s not total bed rest, but, he shouldn’t go from 0 to 100 in 1 second. Um, he does that in 1 millisecond now that he’s relaxed and gotten to know us. She recommended the calming treats that have a safe doggie dose of melatonin in them to help. I’ve used it myself when stressed to help with sleep. It is perfectly safe. We decided to try it back on Wednesday when psycho-poochie was in danger of hurting himself. We are not going to use them as a convenience only to protect him from himself when normal methods aren’t working.

76.8 with 98% humidity. No breeze and some clouds. The pool is 83. The forecast app says a high of 88 with only a 30% chance of rain (no lightening) at 1800.

Of course, possible pool weather when I’m way behind on this sign project.

Longtime football radio announcer Greg Papa has been battling leukemia for at least last football season until now. I remember him cause he was the Raiders radio and sometimes national broadcast tv announcer eons ago, the 1980s. Fuck the Raiders! ☮️💪🧡Mr Papa! I hope you get thru this and live a long, full, happy Raider free life!

His current employer, KNBR, laid him off recently. Per part of the paywalled article quoted in a comment, he was felt he could return doing his radio show from home like last year — working thru chemo. That’s fucking tough! I know it well. IMO, letting go someone who’s going thru cancer is cruel. He likely lost his medical coverage as part of this.

Employment tied healthcare doesn’t work. It originated in WW2 when companies were prohibited from raising salaries. So they started offering benefits to entice workers. Government should have never been dictating salaries in the first place! Now we have it, and as is tradition, we cargo cult along and put up with the massive administrative beast it created.

Taxpayer funded (I don’t like it when it’s termed free) healthcare should be a thing. I’m unsure if it belongs at the federal level though. That’s my longtime distrust of presidential admins and a doesn’t-represent-me Congress talking though. It’s a human right and part of what “promote the general welfare” in our Constitution’s Preamble means IMO.

Birthright Citizenship and “Birth Tourisim”

The Supremes overturned his previous XO (Executive Order) on birthright citizenship in a win for sanity. He who cannot ever lose issued new ones yesterday (2026-08-06).

The first one once again attempts to disallow US citizenship for persons born here if the mother and father are not citizens or legal permanent residents.

The second one attempts to put further restrictions on visas for pregnant persons.

Sure there was a small decrease from May to June but otherwise that line goes upward! Up the opposite of down.

Sure there are a couple downward items. Eggs are related to the bird flu crisis ending with chicken herds effectively culled. I suspect bread is the same since eggs are likely an ingredient.

Finally, gasoline.

It’s pretty fuckin clear to me prices are not falling to the floor. What I see locally is more like shooting skyward.

I missed this one back on Wednesday 2026-08-05. Better late than never.

Coast Citrus Distributors imported jalapeños from Mexico that were contaminated with salmonella. The importer received the peppers from a single grower in Mexico.

These were distributed to restaurants including Chipotle and QDOBA. Those 2 chains have replaced the supplier.

The FDA is still determining if these recalled jalapeños went to grocery stores. How long can it take? Contact the supplier and ask? If no straight answer, contact major grocery chains and find out if they use them?

States reporting infections traced to the peppers are: AL, AR, CA, CO, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, ND, NE, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI and WY.

FL isn’t on the list but I guess now I’m removing those when I order out texican. Soon, it’ll be an empty shell I fear. Or a box of air. Dammit we didn’t plant them this year since they were too fruitful last year. I like fresh jalapeños.

Fast-Tracking Military Cooperation with Columbia

Dammit it’s pay-walled. The new Columbian President, endorsed by peachy, takes office today. They have “sweeping plans to target drug traffickers” per the article summary that can be seen before the pay-wall pop up.

If this cooperation is anything like what’s going down in Ecuador, the civilians of Columbia are in trouble. 186 innocent civilian beings, at last lookup/count 2026-08-01, have lost their lives due to drug enforcement there. They were small farmers and their families targeted due to opposition to the Ecuadorian government and labeled as drug makers/traffickers.

ICE will release bodycam video footage only when it is seen to be in its “best interests” per policy. This comes along with their plans to take the next 2 months to equip officers with the bodycams that have been funded for over a year as part of the BBB.

The policy says ICE will promptly release video of shootings and other encounters in which its agents cause death or serious injury only after determining “it is in the best interests of the agency” to do so.

So millions of our tax funds spent to do this and they’ll keep the footage behind closed doors. Well ofc, why would they release what these creeps are doing? I forsee many promo videos of them delivering food and flowers to favored beings.

There is something interesting in that policy though. “in which its agents cause death or serious injury”. Is that an admission? It’s certainly a well known fact! Not an alternative one though, fucking reality!

Cruz’s Comments

This was said in a Fox interview on Wednesday 2026-08-05. My understanding of the context was that it was in reference to progressive leaders becoming more prominent. Coincidentally, many of them are Muslim.

“They’re crazy enough, yes; they want to cancel Thanksgiving, they want to cancel Christmas. They want Sharia law, they hate Jews, they hate Christians, they hate capitalism, they hate America.”

Who’s said anything about canceling these holidays? I’ve not seen anything written or broadcast. I do see persons that follow other than Christian religions advocate for additional holidays. Nothing wrong with that.

There’s more hat-red leaking out of that statement than I’ve ever seen from any peeps I know of the religions it’s aimed at. My thought is Mr Cruz needs a mirror repair person. All of his are seriously malfunctioning!

Those with malfunctioning mirrors tend to be the most vocal about accusing others of hate and violence. Meanwhile, they’re out there leading it or enabling it!

The Blanche Confirmation

Sen’s Collins (ME) and Murkowski (AK) have loudly publicly stated they won’t vote for it. Based on the current Senate math, accounting for absences and assuming McConnell stays AWOL, he doesn’t have the votes.

Murkowski issued a long release complaining about the weaponization of the DOJ under Blanche’s interim role so far, the slushy fund, and demanding an AG that will act as a check on this admin.

I think that’s the bare minimum of qualification for the office and agree on the first 2 points. As long as it’s peachy’s slushy fund we’re bitchin about. Leave mine alone. I like slushies and solid-water cream!

Of course, one of Collins or Murkowski will probably quitely flip back after they negotiate some perk for themselves. That’s how it always goes.

Thursday it is. Tired I is. Email on my phone woke me up at 0500ish and I never got back to sleep. I did get more done on my map of killin sign last night. I only have tonight and tomorrow to get it done if I’m going to use it this week.

I suppose it’s time to get on with this. Warning this one has a long tirade! It’s more than a rant. First a big reminder section! Onward!

Really Important Reminder - FL Primary

If you’re in FL and an eligible voter, today’s the last day to request a vote by mail ballot.

If you’re not doing VBM, early voting starts tomorrow — Friday Aug 7. It ends Sunday Aug 16th. EV locations are open 1000-1800. Most libraries are EV locations. All EV locations, or at least my local libraries, have the drop boxes for VBM ballots.

If you choose to vote on election day, that is Tuesday Aug 18.

Whatever method you chose, VOTE DAMMIT! Even the non-partisan ballot has important local offices like judges on it. Some of those automatically win the office via the primary if sufficient thresholds are reached.

IMO, VBM is the best way to vote. I can do all my research in my comfy chair and color in all the right circles. Who am I kidding here? Y’all read my bitching and have figured out my politics by now. I’m coloring in the left circles. Then I take my ballot to a EV library and drop it in the box. Then the checking online for receipt and counting starts.

I must compliment our current Supervisor of Elections office in Duval County. I modified my registration to change my party affiliation to be able to vote in the Democrat primary kind of late. So my initial VBM ballot was the non-partisan one. I used their online messaging system to inquire. I had a very polite and helpful email response the next day. New correct ballot is here. Perfect! Note made to change the registration earlier next time 😎.

Treasonous Leakers

The U.S. has massive amounts of “munitions,” especially of certain types. Additionally, large amounts are being manufactured and shipped to the U.S. as needed. Defense companies are building the largest number of plants and factories in our country’s history. The “leakers” of these treasonous statements are being hunted down. Long term jail sentences will be sought!

Well sure, I have no doubt we have tons of regular bullets and whatnot. However, it’s no secret large numbers of offensive and defensive missiles have been used. The stock of that has to be dwindling. They take time to build. A single patriot missile takes months per search engine results.

He can brag all he wants about factories being built. Concepts of a factory can’t produce anything right now though.

I don’t get the “leakers” thing. No one needs anything leaked to talk about this. Rational thought is all that’s needed to conclude there’s a supply problem now or one is imminent.

Reflections on the Reflecting Pool

The Cultural Landscape Foundation (TCLF) is suing the peachy admin over the reflecting pool work. They’ve asked for an injunction to allow time for experts inspect its condition before anything else is done to it. The filing contends that the National Park Service’s repair plans could destroy evidence needed to determine the cause of all the new problems.

The bigger claim is in the quote from the filing below.

“Defendants also have undertaken to destroy some of the very evidence that could shed light on the veracity of Defendants’ claims”

Destroy the evidence of the real issue and blame others. The usual playbook. It hasn’t led to any legal accountability yet with the exception of 1 of E. Jean Carroll’s cases. Perhaps he’ll drown in a messy pool of his own making!

The Helipad

The giant peach recently ordered the contractors working on the new helipad to tear down weeks worth of work and re-do it. Why? He didn’t like how it looked.

The helipad is being built on the WH South Lawn which slants downward away from the building. He insists that the helipad be level with the horizon. Contractors are now trying to figure out whether to restart by altering the lawn itself. It’s unknown how much this will add to the already $5 million cost. Some of that is being funded by Lockheed Martin in conjunction with the new helicopter purchases.

It’s insane to tear down a perfectly functional installation because it ain’t level with the horizon. Little Lord Fauntleroy needs some more mashed potatoes dumped on his head. Where’s his brother when we need him?

He’s spending a reported up to $1.2 billion on his 18 vanity projects throughout DC. The Big ButtUgly Ballroom, The Trumphallic Arc, etc etc. How much taxpayer funding is never reported or made clear. WH officials have admitted there is some tax payer funding involved. His peachiness constantly touts private funding then that suddenly isn’t enough or magically disappears and the projects become 100% taxpayer funded.

Yet we cannot afford SNAP, Medicare/Medicaid, need to raise the SS retirement age, and so on. How about the government serve it’s people and not its inhabitants? I’m not disputing normal building maintenance. Old buildings do need repairs and modernization. They do not need gold spray paint everywhere! We do not need the arc, the ballroom, nor probably whatever the 16 other projects are that I cannot recall now!

However, if we’re going to build this shit anyway, get the damn design straight up front. Build it once not 300 times over! When the contractor simply fucks up as in the case of the LM Reflecting Pool make them fix it at their cost, not ours!

The flight became the victim of a military exercise testing the ability to block GPS signals. I’ve stayed away from the daily speculation articles cause they all say the same thing. “We don’t know but if you click here we’ll speculate with drivel and get ad revenue”. It’s pointless.

The people of KY deserve to know if he’s capable of serving them in the Senate or will be within a reasonable time. If not, a replacement, temporary or otherwise, must be put in place by the process outlined in KY state law.

I’ve lost some respect for Gov Beshear here. Sure it’s advantageous to the Ds for the Rs to be down a vote in the Senate. However, the people of his state deserve proper representation.

Rape enabler at a minimum Sen Ron Johnson last night claimed he’d gotten a hold of a copy of Dr Fauci’s phone from during the peachy 1.0 admin. He insists the phone records are needed to answer all the questions Dr Fauci refused to last week.

First, the legal stuff here. IANAL!!! My understanding is once one has been pardoned, they are not allowed to “plead the fifth” in a legal setting. I’m unsure if a trumped up Congressional hearing rises to that standard. If it does legally does, then he should be held accountable.

Sadly all their ridiculous questions boil down to a lack of understanding of Science. See there’s this thing called the Scientific Method that I recall being taught, often a quick refresher, in every science class I’ve taken.

Now fair disclaimer, I took more than required cause I like science and math. I think the state requirements ended after 1/2 year of a science class between 9th and 12th grade. That could be faulty memory. Obviously, I had more science requirements to get the “Mathematics” and “BS” printed on that dusty degree up on the shelf.

Now during the COVID hype phase this was conducted in real time. The public world was the lab. It’s still a pandemic BTW. We simply have chosen to shove it on the back burner.

Many hypothesises were created and tested. Some were right; some were wrong; some we don’t yet know. The virus was also rapidly changing during the early part. Cause that’s what they do — mutate to survive.

Masks will work. But all parties in a small environment need to have them on for this to work. Sorry it’s inconvenient for some. I gave up long ago in most public settings. Not cause I don’t think they work. Because nobody else was wearing them so they couldn’t work. Also after 2026-02-09, what was COVID gonna do that stage 3c didn’t? My one exception is at the cancer center or other parts of the Mayo campus. If I see other’s wearing them, that’s my signal that they have immune issues. I respect that and put one on if I’m nearby. I’m grateful others did that for me in those places during my treatment.

Distancing also works. Is 3ft the right answer? Probably not. Maybe? The science wasn’t given a chance to learn before everyone gave up.

The vaccines also work. mRNA is a proven tech dating way back to the ‘70s for fucks sake. IT DOES NOT ALTER YOU! It does allow the tech and formulation to be changed quickly to react to a rapidly changing virus.

Whoever/Whatever convinced some that these vaccines were supposed prevent getting sick is something I’ll never understand. The FDA and manufacturers were very open with their results. They reduced the volume of disease in the body. This (1) made the sickness less intense and reduced the risk of death or needing hospitalization, and (2) reduced spread to some extent.

Science evolves as we learn more and understand more. Conclusions change and have to be fluid to react to a changing world that we’re trying to understand. Rigid thinking doesn’t work! Some, sadly won’t give up their rigid thinking, and will persecute and ruin peoples’ lives because of it.

I won’t quit ranting, waving signs, advocating, and voting to make that stop. The big C took my filter and desire to go along to get along away!

Personally, I’ve had more pokes of Moderna than I can count — was on every 4-6mo at one time due to low WBC cause chemo does that. They’re safe. It’s anecdotal but I’m here and not altered. Oh wait, I’m kinda weird so I’m probably their poster child for side effects.

Yeah I’ve had COVID once for sure; one other time suspected but not severe enough to test positive. I’ve had sinus infections that made me feel worse! I attribute that to my many many doses of the vax.

I’ll continue to get the them yearly as my primary care doc recommends and my onc team is on-board with. I do what I’m told now that I have good docs that listen and explain stuff.

Abysmal Conditions For US Service Members

The USS Lincoln aircraft carrier has been deployed to the region for 5 straight months and in its 9th straight month at sea. A routine deployment is 7 months. The Lincoln’s deployment was recently extended.

The ship is crewed by 5000 service members. Families of those serving on the ship are now speaking out about the terrible conditions on the ship.

This is the same ship for which there were reports and photos of the awful food rations back in April. Those were ofc dismissed as “fake news”.

Those on the ship report being so exhausted they fear making deadly mistakes. They report extremely long shifts and rarely getting a day off. This entire shitshow is a deadly mistake! Still, no one should be forced to work to this point of exhaustion. It’s in humane.

Crew members also report moldy showers, non-functional toilets, food shortages, and running out of personal care items. One crew member also reported seeing holes that have worn thru the flight deck.

The spokesperson for the Navy’s 5th fleet denies the holes in the flight deck. If there, that’s obviously a huge risk to aircraft and personnel.

Moldy showers seem like an internal cleaning issue. However, if the crew isn’t being given time to clean or they’re out of cleaning supplies, that’s the fault of those much higher in the chain of command.

It’s becoming clear that he who called our military “suckers and losers” treats them very poorly, even inhumanely.

Wednesday again! Oy my openers are repetitive. Typical me though, I struggle with starting anything. It’s weird. If it’s something I really want to do, I have this weird fear of starting it cause then it will end. Another badge for the freak banner I suppose.

A small meta update, I had to declare ‘bankruptcy’ on past headlines and stuff in my notes from over the weekend and Monday night. There was no way I’d get to it all without getting further behind on new stuff. Some were added to existing longer topics in the works and the ideas for longer topics list though.

I did start something last night though! A couple conversations last Saturday morning planted the seed for a more manageable replacement to the monstrosity sign depicting the atrocity. It’s too big for me to deal with sometimes. So I’m combining at their inability to identify countries correctly with my need to track the numbers of beings they’ve killed. I’ll also move that to another page on here so it’s not solely a local thing.

There is news on the cyclospora outbreak. The CDC reported case count is up to 22,723 nationally. I have very little confidence in that number. Early on, the CDC was reporting less cases than the MI DOH. The article itself states that the sum of state health department reports is 23,295. That’s close enough that the CDC number could simply be a verification lag.

It never should have happened. What outcome did these fucks think would come from cutting 20,000 USDA employees the majority from food inspection? Sadly, the bottom line is they don’t care — cruelty is the point.

At 1814 EDT yesterday, an AI slop pic of him with Gen Patton and MacArthur was posted with the title Patton, Trump, MacArthur and no further words. So I assume that’s what he thinks his mirror is reflecting lately. I really haven’t read much about the actual generals, not my typical interest. Somehow though I think they cared more about those they commanded and tried to minimize loss of life while still achieving objectives. I’ll never say the same for the giant peach!

The DOJ, via Piro’s office, has dropped most of the cases claiming vandalism due to a lack of evidence. That’s a good thing! Those peeps shouldn’t have to spend money they likely don’t have defending themselves from insane, trumped up charges.

The giant peach is pissed about that of course. It was widely reported that Ms Piro left the WH earlier this week with a white cardboard box along with her brief case. I think we all know what the professional press was trying to imply.

There, of course, have been no follow up reports. She still also has the job she’s laughingly unqualified for afaik. I will say that I think the initial unfounded reports were very sick. Her office is not in the WH, so she’d not have any personal stuff there to put in the box. It was likely case files or other work product. Those boxes do have more than the implied purpose. It’s easy to write something without any real evidence and that speculation can destroy people’s lives.

Shoddy Work Skyrocketing Profit

The pool is now drained and anyone with 2 brain cells knows the problems with refurbishment 1.0 were due to poor quality of work. I also think driving the presidential motorcade over it certainly did not help. The limo weighs 15,000 to 20,000 pounds. I doubt any pool liner system would hold up to that.

The re-repair or re-refurb contract has been awarded to the same no bid contractor that fucked it up in the first place! Why do we have to pay a 2nd time anyway? Shouldn’t their have been some sort of guarantee for a period of time? Any contractor we’ve personally worked with does that. Ugh!

WE (the US) May Be Really Running Out of Bombs

Yesterday Meidas Touch reported that the US has used “virtually all” of its precision strike missiles in the Iran WTF. We’ve also used nearly half of the Tomahawk missile stockpile.

I’ve written in the past expressing a hope for this as the only way I see for some of the killing this admin does to stop. The scary reality though is that it leaves our military unable to protect its bases abroad should one or a group of the many nations we’ve pissed off decide to do something violent about it.

Strait Outta Horumz

It ain’t open yet. In the past 24 hours the giant peach has of course attempted market manipulation a couple times.

He said the strait would be open “very soon” and if not “Iran would be hit very hard”.

He also said a deal to re-re-re-…-open it could be made as early as today. “It could happen. Tomorrow or the next day. A lot of progress has been made.”

I could suddenly have the ability to fly and breath fire too! That’d be awesome. I’d fly everywhere! No more ankle and knee pain and unbalancedness, bumbling, and stumbling when walking! Sign me up!

IMO all that’s equally likely as a real, long-term agreement to end the madness he started.

People have now died from the Cyclosporiasis outbreak. 2 deaths in MI. May their friends and family find peace. These were people with underlying health conditions. More importantly these were living humans before they got sick. They got sick due to the cuts at USDA that directly led to the bad lettuce getting out there.

The “Eat Lettuce…” retort of mine for hecklers is getting retired. I had wrongly assumed it’s low fatality meant I was safe using it.

I’ll keep on with my tainted menu as I’m not recommending anyone actually eat these items. I think it’s a good illustration of how extensive the list of bad food due to a lack of inspectors is.

The contamination was not caught on import inspection. It was sold only at Walmart and distributed in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, South Dakota, Tennessee, Washington, and Wyoming.

UFC lost $30 million on the event at the White House. This has been misreported in some publications as WWE. The $30 million was still lost though; their words. TKO group, the ownership, stated the loss in an earnings call yesterday. On the same call they state the event generated $1 billion in “earned media”. Exposure I presume.

The Blanche Confirmation Hearings

It appears Sen’s Cornyn (TX) and Thune SD have caved on not voting in favor. Late Sunday Blanche issued a formal order ending the slushy fund. Believe that? I have some swamp land… Apparently the 2 senators do believe it though.

The document isn’t binding. peachy could simply issue a new XO rescinding the document and re-creating the slushy fund. Maybe even with a bigger balance.

Regardless, if he has their 2 votes he’ll advance out of committee at the vote on Tuesday.

I should provide an update on my slushy fund. It was well spent back on vacation in June. Solid-water cream or frozen beverages were enjoyed every day! Sometimes twice per day. Since, it has been expanded to allow for this frequently during the week and made mandatory on the weekend days. Freshfields Farm store has greatly assisted in this by selling their solid-water shop creations in the main store! Yum!

Watching Failing ICE

Another fucking death! An immigrant held at the Delany concentration camp in NJ has passed. Edwin Lopez-Cornejo, a 41-year-old Salvadoran migrant was pronounced dead on Saturday by medical workers at University Hospital in Newark. ICE released this statement yesterday. Per the statement he experienced a medical emergency and 911 was contacted. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead there. There are no further details and the investigation is ongoing.

I did not make that up. CENTCOM has sent a group email stating “We are looking for new creative and unconventional ways to pressure and punish Iran”. This was sent to a “broad group of military analysts” per the truthout.com article.

What the ever fucking fuck!?! The anonymous source quoted in the article stated “you need creative minds at times — especially if you’re running out of conventional options.”

The article also disclosed some things I wasn’t aware of from last week thru yesterday.

A 2000 pound bomb, called a Mark 84, was dropped on Qeshm Island last week by the US. This landed on a home in a residential area killing 2 parents and their 2 year old child. Somehow 2 other children in the family survived.
- These things are also commonly supplied to Israel and are what have been used in Gaza over the years.
When the news of the Iran Foreign Minister stating there are no negotiations broke, peachy trueeted his complaints of Iran’s “duplicitous” negotiation style.

They ask for a meeting, some would say “beg”, talks begin, with more scheduled in the immediate future, and they say, openly and proudly, that they’re not having any discussions, that nothing is being talked about.

Whether Iran wants to admit it or not, we are, in fact, talking of a solution to a problem that they have caused for decades. It is very simple, IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!

Who’s caused problems for decades? Who’s meddled with whose governments since the 1950s? I had to teach myself what post WW2 history I know. I did teach myself this around the time of the 1980 hostage crisis. I cannot say I truly blame Iran for their reactions. I wish they weren’t as violent and did not result in the loss of being’s lives. However, they have every right to be pissed off and try to do something about it.

Monday again! I’ve continued setting the personal bests for waking up and getting out of bed! So have you at least for the waking up part cause you’re reading this. Woo-hoo!

Another week but also another new month. To be precise, the new month was Saturday but I only do this on weekdays. That means flipping the page on the sweary calendar. August has the following for us.

Would ya like some fruit with that breakfast or sandwich we had as of last week? Mayhaps, I can interest you in some organic frozen berries, Publix brand? Sold in stores in AL, FL, GA, KY, NC, SC, TN, and VA.

These come with a side of E. Coli contamination. That’ll cause gastrointestinal illness, with symptoms such as severe stomach cramps, diarrhea (which may be bloody), and vomiting. Some strains and severity can lead to kidney failure. So this one won’t go on my list of comebacks for hecklers. However, it still gets added to the menu.

But wait! There’s more! Ukrop's Homestyle Foods of Richmond, VA has recalled 22,880 pounds of baked spaghetti and chicken cobbler that could be contaminated with slivers of metal. These were all labeled with the Ukrop brand and sold in retail locations in NC, VA, WV, and sold online. They were also supplied to the Department of Defense. The problem was discovered via consumer complaint upon finding a piece of metal after cooking and attempting to eat.

We don’t need no food inspectors! That’s not efficient though it does sound like a future song re-imagining. The DOGE cuts led to the USDA losing approximately 20,000 employees. That loss has led to my ever expanding menu of Tainted Food.

Medical Care in Detention Settings

ICE has admitted to over 800 missed medication dosages at Indiana’s largest detention facility, Miami Correctional Facility in Bunker Hill IN. They are counting individual dosages of medications prescribed to detainees. For example, if I forget to take my thyroid med 2 days in a row that would count as 2 in their count.

They claim 750 were missed because detainees refused to get in the pill line to collect their meds, 44 were because the med was on order and not received by the pharmacy, and 5 were not given “out of safety due to extremely low blood sugar levels of the detainees that needed them”.

The 5 I would assume are blood sugar lowering meds for diabetics. That’s prudent and living with a diabetic prone to low bs events, I know they just happen sometimes. He can eat a full meal and 45 minutes later be beeping with low blood sugar. However, this could also be caused by not eating proper meals. We’ve seen prior reports of contaminated and inedible food being served.

As for “refused to get in the pill line”, did they understand where the line was, what it was for, etc? Many may not speak/understand the English language! Did those in charge do anything to mitigate that barrier? If they’re being kept in fenced off areas for much of the day with no ability to get to the pill line at the right time, that’s a big problem too. It’s called denial of medical care. It will lead to critical illness and potentially deaths. It absolutely has!

The State Department has said it takes “full responsibility” for a “hastily” modified map of Africa that was presented at a global AIDS conference. They managed to mislabel every single country highlighted! Those US Americans need the correct maps!

Besides the typical fellationing of dear leader peachy while he sleeps that goes on at these things, the cyber attack in MN, the immigration situation in Spain was discussed. I’ll put some peachy quotes below with some comments of my own.

I see a lot of reporting that the local governments in Spain asked for humanitarian resources from their national government. I’m jaded enough that I doubt that would be the reaction here.

Referring to the cyber attacks on MN public water systems the giant peach said the following without offering any evidence.

“They blame it on Iran I don’t think so. I think I blame it on Minnesota because they’re grossly incompetent.”

Both are likely true. He’ll of course deny, deny, deny that his actions in Iran led to this. There is still a shred of truth there. Security clearly wasn’t adequate if they were able to somewhat disrupt the water supply. However, I’d say the incompetence starts at the federal level. peachy attacked a country known for it’s ability to attack computer systems. I’ve heard of no federal assistance offered to states and local governments to harden systems.

Regarding the Bored of Peace or Board of peach he had a major announcement of an agreement to disarm Hamas and end the conflict in Gaza. I hope it’s real. I hope it actually does work this time. I don’t care who gets or takes credit. I only want the senseless fucking killing to stop!

There was also a lot of whining about the slushy fund and the hold up in Blanche’s AG nomination.

“Their families have been ruined. Those people wanted to go to a rally or an event and ended up spending the rest of their lives in horror.”

What some of those people did after the speeches was a horror! It’s caused other families to likely spend the “rest of their lives in horror”. I’m writing about the police officers and others who were killed or seriously injured. Where’s the kindness, empathy, etc for them? Nah the giant peach and his ilk tear down memorials to them!

At a minimum, the giant peach incited a riot! Period, well exclamation point anyway. It looked more like a treasonous insurrection to me. What were his words ‘walk down to the Capitol…’? I’m too lazy to look the exact ones up right now, sorry. That’s what’s burned into my memory with the odd emphasis on Capitol. Those people don’t need a $1.8 billion payout. They belong in prison, but, already got a pardon. That day 1 promise got kept.

The giant peach also belongs in prison for his actions that lead to the assault on the Capitol. I know our Constitution does call for a penalty of up to and including death. I’m vehemently opposed to that! I’ve written about that enuf though. So prison for the remainder of his and their lives is what’s appropriate IMO.

Another MOU?

The giant peach announced over the weekend that he had called of another series of heavy strikes as the framework for an agreement to end the not-a-war-fucking-mess had possibly been reached. I certainly hope so.

However, I fear MOU2.0 is much the same as MOU1.0. By my count, this is the 40th time he’s ended this not-a-war-fucking-mess that he started at Netanyahoo’s behest.

This morning reports are that Iran is already denying that this MOU2.0 exists. Negotiators were supposedly scheduled to meet today. Iran’s Foreign Minister states that Iran “is not currently holding any talks with Washington and is rather in discussions with Oman about securing a temporary safe route through the Strait of Hormuz”.

What we have is 2 governments that lie, constantly reject reality and substitute their own, and fabricate more lies to substantiate their fake reality. Until enough reject their delusions or Netanyahoo gets what he really really wants a zig a zig pie, there will be no real agreement nor peace.

Friday has come around again. I’m somewhat awake and mostly upright. Meds are in. So let’s get on with the wRiting.

Good! I’m ready for some time away from work. The “I despise computers!” mantra has been a bit frequent this week. It’s more so keyboards and mice and neuropathy are really not mixing well lately.

Weather

Currently 75.2, completely still, 93% humidity, and a little bit cloudy. The pool is 85.

The forecast app says a high of 92 with a 30% chance of t-storms from 2100 to 0000.

No more heat warnings now. Not sure what the difference between today’s highs and the past few days are to change that. IANAM though.

Maybe swimming after work for the first time this week?

Tomorrow is forecast for a high of 89. Rain chances are around 20% much of the day. I may be using the umbrella at Saturday Shenanigans.

I was thinking maybe Jeff could bring Schwarzie by to socialize. However, if there’s so much of a hint of sky moisture that might dampen the ground and cause his paws to get wet, forget about it. He will not so much as put one paw out the door. He also ate his paw balm. Yes I wrote that. He ate all of the paw balm and some of the container. Fortunately, it is edible because dogs lick their paws. But seriously dude, your other treats aren’t the 1st choice? New foot protection will not arrive until Sunday.

This is per an article in health.com. Today we can add bacon to the list. 12,000 pounds of bacon from Canada (can’t write Canadian bacon cause reasons) has been recalled. It was distributed in 3 states: Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. It is sold under the following brands.

The reason given is it did not undergo inspection when imported into the US.

We now have multiple meal possibilities!!!

Prices

The price of eggs is reported to be down 32.7% since January 2025 when peachy took office. He recently said the following while campaigning in Michigan. “Now eggs are much lower than they were when we first started. And that’s true with everything else. And you’ll see how true it’s going to be after we get rid of the nuclear threat of Iran, which will be very quickly.”

First the highlighted in green portion, it ain’t true of everything else. Sure the price of some stuff is down, but overall food prices are up 33%. Inflation for the 12 months from June 2025 to June 2026 was 3.5%. Those don’t have the coming bumps due to increased fuel and fertilizer built in yet.

Hey peachy, it’s called economics not eggonomics. Ya don’t get to point out the one thing for which prices have come down when everything else is rocketing up. Especially when that change in egg prices has nothing to do with peachy policy. The bird flu has run its course and farmers are no longer having to cull their hen herds.

What’s Up In the Cabinet

RFK2 is too busy to fix the USDA food inspection problems. He’ll be hosting a new cooking show with celebrity chef’s. It will highlight the new dietary guidelines that feature protein at every meal, full-fat dairy, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. It’s slogan will be “Eat Real Food” and the name is “The Real Food Show”.

As to the guidelines, haven’t protein, veggies, fruits, and whole grains always been the recommendations? Seems like they have since I can recall back to elementary school.

It’s reported the show will illustrate how to prepare easy, affordable meals that fit in with the guidelines. Wait “affordable”, isn’t that a Democrat hoax? Further with food prices up 33.4% since 2019, what’s affordable? My salary hasn’t increased by 33% since then!

One of the first episodes will feature a chef named Andrew Gruel. 😲They will be cooking crispy salmon cakes with apple paired with white bean and green salad.

The article does not indicate where or when the show will be aired/streamed.

The Fauci Hearing

Re-litigating the federal government’s COVID response is yet another attempt at distraction and another revenge action. Reminder, the inconsistent and confusing response was with peachy as president.

Were all the recommendations necessary and perfect? No of course not. Some were surely harmful to some. People were doing the best they could with the limited information available and resorted to tried and true methods. If something is highly contagious then limit exposure. Simple and rational.

My only other comments on it are that I wish I didn’t find the backlash surprising. People were asked to limit their time in public settings, wear a mask, stand a few feet away from others, get a vaccination, etc to help other humans who were more vulnerable. Many reacted by storming the castles, attempting to kidnap governors, burn medical supplies, etc.

Six years later, I still get eye rolls and scowls when I’m at the cancer center for my periodic checkups. They do chemo infusions in that building people! Many chemo drugs wreck havoc on the immune system. Yours may work perfectly, but, there’s a lot of folks there who’s isn’t at the current time. I tend to distance from obvious chemo patients, ask if their comfortable with me nearby in waiting areas, or would like me to put on a mask.

Is is so fucking hard to have some respect, consideration, and be able to prioritize someone other than oneself? Is a little personal inconvenience and compromise so much to ask for? We got a clear answer on that starting in March 2020 and since.

USA’s 250th

The failed Freedom 250 event hasn’t been fully paid for yet. Congress initially authorized $150 million for the country’s 250th celebration. This in addition to the “unspecified amount” that was requested in a budget request earlier this month to help Freedom 250 “recoup costs”.

This $10 million is to reimburse the National Park Service for routine costs that took place at the National Mall. It includes the Christian Rededicate 250 prayer event, the Great American State Fair, and the July 4th Salute to America.

Are they trying for spending an even $250 million?

There sure has been quite a bit of specific religion based state sponsored praying going on lately for a state that is supposed to be separated from churches! Or maybe I have that spelled wrong giving the words and actions of said state? Perhaps “preying” (on it’s residents) is a more appropriate word choice? It sure seems that way a lot of the time lately.

War Powers Resolution

The latest attempt to stop the Iran not-a-war-whatever-the-fuck-this-is pholly failed in the Senate after passing in the House. That vote was yesterday with DINO Sen Fetterman joining the Rs to vote against it.

Senators Elizabeth Warren spoke at a campaign event for Abdul El-Sayed. “The Republicans have all had their spines surgically removed. I mean, they’re just gelatinous blobs that kind of make it through the United States Senate.”

Ooookay! I jokingly call her Granny Goodness from Teen Titans cause she reminds me of that character. I just asked Jeff about a gelatinous blob like character in the same universe. He says there is a Brute and Glob after doing some searching. However, it came with a disclaimer that he’s a Marvel Fan and not much for DC. Next time he asks me questions about football teams or players other than the Broncos….

It’s also being reported that 2/3s of poll responders oppose this BS. That surprises me a bit. I’d expect it to be lower. “Killing all the right people” — LG (RITension) and all.

AG Confirmation

peachy is threatening to withdraw the Blanche nomination and let him continue to serve as the interim. Either way he’ll be in that office thru the election and that’s what peachy wants for maximum meddling potential.

Peachy & The Supremes

I missed an additional claim in peachy’s appeal to the SC for the $83 million judgement in E. Jean Carroll’s favor to be overturned. Per the radaronline article, his lawyers are claiming that it’s a presidential duty to defame anyone they may have raped! They raise the concern that the prior judgement exposes future presidents to law suits from women they have raped and defamed. They further argue that those statements are official presidential acts that are protected by the earlier SC immunity ruling.

I have a very simple solution to propose.

Don’t rape and defame other persons!!

This person, peachy, did so and should be held accountable. The lower court has done so. The end. Time to pay the piper, peachy! Oh, but there’s never an end to his fuckery. I suspect his will contains orders for his survivors to attempt to get his every loss and failure in life legally expunged from every record keeping source in existence. It’ll take a mass mind wiping -- I wouldn’t put an attempt at that past these ! Of course, it’ll fail spectacularly with other side effects due to incompetence.

Sen Scott’s Statement

My (FL) Senator Rick Scott said the following yesterday. “If there's not a regime change, then maybe we don't have to do this every day, but we're going to have to do this every so often.”

No shit sherlock! However I didn’t think the Rs were emboldened enough to say that loud and clear publicly. Do they simply no longer give a flying fuck going into the midterms? Scott was chair of the R Senate election committee at one point.

Hell we’ve meddled with Iran’s sovereignty since at least the 1950s. Why would we stop all of a sudden. This is the first time it’s been with direct bombing etc. We know that’s cause this is the first president to give into Israel’s leadership’s pleas to do so.

General Update

The previously reported as unknown cause fires on 2 tankers in an Egyptian port have now been blamed on a drone strike. That was likely Iran.

It seems both sides want to drag the rest of the region and world into this. May all those countries remain stubbornly out of it!

Iran says opening the Strait of Hormuz is impossible of the US blockade of its ports continues. Also just in, water is wet.

peachy is holding a cabinet meeting at Camp David today. Per Press Secretary Leavitt’s statement it will be “a lot of fun and something different for the cabinet to experience together".

I may have missed this one a couple weeks ago. Pillsbury has recalled ~736,000 Pillsbury bread rolls due to possible glass contamination. These are “Kaiser Roll Dough” and “Hard Roll Dough”. Doh indeed!

They were sold to businesses, restaurants and caterers, in Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Louisiana, Maine, Missouri, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.

WE HAVE A FULL SANDWICH NOW!!!

It might be a little dry though can contaminated mustard, mayo, or ketchup be too far behind? Eggs from TX, Taylor Farms lettuce, and either a kaiser or hard roll. Oooh even a bread choice! Why not one of each for extra sharpness!?!

I can have levels of comebacks now.

The even better news (/s) is that it’s all 34.6%, on average using 2019 as a baseline year, more expensive now. The prices won’t be going down anytime soon either. Increased transportation costs due to increased fuel costs will get passed on eventually.

Congress Stuff

A quote from House Speaker Mike Johnson R-LA.

“The American people can trust House Republicans, the Republican party to run this government. We’re going to win the midterms. I’m very bullish about the outcome and we talk about it all the time but with each passing day, I’m more confident.”

“This is a God thing, it really is. We have intercessory prayers who are on the ground at the Capitol praying each of these things through.”

I needed to look up the definition of “intercessory prayer” to confirm my interpretation. gotquestions.org’s definition is consistent with most of the other search results and is not faith based as I’m trying to remove that bias.

Quite simply, intercessory prayer is the act of praying on behalf of others.

I don’t find any non-Christian specific meanings other than the above. Perhaps other religions don’t have this concept? It’s inconsequential here since Johnson’s context is certainly Christian.

I have to conclude then that no Congress persons are participating in the praying. After all, it’s done “on behalf of others”. A strict interpretation would also mean they found pray-ers who have no opinion on the topics being prayed about. Are they from another country — if the topic is for who wins in the midterm elections and/or legislation the impacts all US Americans (meaning residents)? Are they professionals for hire or volunteers? Are their expenses being paid by someone(s) while being present and doing the praying?

I have another quote for him and his “intercessory prayers”. The emphasis and highlighting in it is of course mine. From Amendment 1 to the United States’ Constitution. Ironically, I pulled the text from congress.gov as it was the first link response in my search.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Courts have traditionally allowed prayer in Congress as long as there is now forced participation nor promotion of a specific faith. They’ve never had to rule on if the prayer coerced passage of certain legislation.

I’ll stick with being an intercessory voting encourager whose hopeful we the people vote these lunatics out!

Acting AG Blanche’s confirmation in the Senate to hold the position more permanantly appears to be in jeprody. A couple Rs actually aren’t comfortable voting to advance him out of comittee due to his handling of the Epstien Files and subsequent poor treatment of the victims. WOW! I did not expect that one!

Court Stuff

peachy let the birthright citizenship SC ruling deadline to request they reconsider pass without such a request. This time the TACOing is a good thing.

I do not speak or read any dialect of Spanish. I was over exposed to Taco Bell ads and the safety messages on Disney World rides though.

He is appealing to the SC to get the $83 million verdict in the 2nd E. Jean Carroll case overturned though. This is from the suit that stems from his insults and defamation after the first verdict occurred. IMO it should be laughed out of court like they did with the $5 million one. We shall see. In the interim, interest on the amount should have and will continue to grow nicely. She’ll also make much better use of the $$$ than he ever would.

The grounds for his appeal? Cause it’s the first case in history in which a court imposed damages on a sitting president. Awwwww. To fucking bad, no one is above the rule of law!!!

The worriesome part here is the other part of the petition. They want to court to swap the defendant in the case from peachy himself to the US government. Their hope is it would pave the way for voiding the judgement because the federal government cannot be sued for defamation. The other thought I have is that they allow the swap but do not void the judgement. That would mean our tax dollars have to pay it. It’s certainly a better use of $83 million than buying bombs, funding ICE etc. However, we all know the money won’t be cut from those sort of things in this admin.

Precedent from the Clinton case would tend to support a sitting president being held accountable and liable for non-official acts. Bitching about and attempting to ruin Ms Carroll’s good name is certainly not an official act. Pay up ass-hatted slime-ball! Supremes do the right thing.

Boat Bombings in the Caribbean and East Pacific

The DEA has released a report that the bombings and killings have failed to impact the supply nor price of cocaine in the US. Wait, I thought it was over fentanyl!?! I’m likely wrong though. Regardless why would killing innocent fisher-persons do anything about the price of tea in China?

The report goes on to mention that drug traffickers moved on to using bigger boats and staying along coastlines to avoid international waters. It also states they’re using aircraft and other means of travel more since early in the operation.

ICE and Related

A driver was detained and assaulted near Portland, OR by a group of men impersonating ICE agents. Apparently there’s a group in the area that have been committing a string of such crimes.

This is yet another reason people flee when confronted with those claiming to be ICE. It has nothing to do with the commonly repeated refrain of “if you haven’t done anything wrong, don’t run”.

Law enforcement has been impersonated in this manner for as long as I can recall. Orgs that actually care about preventing it take steps such as displaying official identification that’s not easily faked, wearing cameras, limiting the use of unmarked vehicles, etc and making it widely known what this stuff looks like.

ICE doesn’t appear to being doing any of the sort. Perhaps they see the criminal’s conducting the assaults as more efficient. No one in the org has yet shown me any words or actions that prove it isn’t solely about cruelty. If it was about removing persons here illegally, they’d actually do so in much greater numbers. Instead, they shuffle them around between facilities because that starts the countdown clock over and provides increased profit to the detention center companies.

What ICE has done is start ramping up to harrass and assult Hatians. peachy and the Supremes recently invalidated the TPS program under which many of Hatian origin came here. I’ll never comprehend how if something was legal then became illegal that the new illegality can be applied retroactively. 1.8 million humans who’ve built a life here. FUCKING CRUEL! I think this goes in this section as part of the Iran Pholly. On Tuesday the US and Saudi military attacked Iran backed groups in Iraq. This was reportedly in retaliation for drone attacks on Saudi oil facilities and US bases. It was Saudi Arabia’s first direct participation in the conflict.

At least 20 members of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces were killed and 32 wounded in the strikes. Ugh more FUCKING KILLING!

This of course could formally bring Iraq into the conflict. Iraqi civilians were killed early on due to missile strikes on US bases there.

Wednesday again! I’ve been successful with Rise R. Here goes with the wRite one. I’m still getting used to this editor vs my good ol’ text editor I was using. Missing some shortcuts like for making something all uppercase, etc. The switch was still worth it for the better formatting and being able to post to other sites now.

I now have better access to stats from our weather station as well. Nothing to do with the Substack switch. It was my leaRn for yesterday. DCT (during cancer treatment) Jeff’s therapy was to dive deep into home automation etc and he built a bunch of dashboards and such for our devices. The Heat Advisory was upgraded yesterday to an Extreme Heat Watch for today.

It’s 80.2 now with some clouds, 93% humidity, 0 UV (that’ll change lol), and no breeze whatsoever. The pool is 87.

Meta Section

I mentioned yesterday needing to explain the “radical” in my site handle and logo.

I’ve used the moniker RadicalOne or some permutation thereof since high school. My HS Trig teacher posted grades (opt in of course) on his bulletin board anonymized. He let us pick our own monikers. Being a numbers freak, I was fascinated with how many ways 1 could be represented mathematically and picked one of them, sqrt(1) = 1. Another word for the square root symbol is “radical”. That was a common overused slang word back then. So I became RadicalOne.

So why RadicalRagingRedhead? Someone else on Substack beat me to RadicalOne. I can’t put a hyphen or score in the moniker on here. I decided to use my hair color while I still have it. Needed another R word and it had to be in alphabetical order within the name. Raging fit with the ranting idea.

Then I needed a logo. No AI crap for me, hand drawn then scanned, shaky neuropathy infested hand and all. I need to fix that sometime — the drawing that is. I’ve also been signing my drawings by morphing the radical symbol into my initials by appending a K on the end. The front side kinda looks like a J if one uses a wide interpretation.

BREAKING POSITIVE NEWS! Dutch Village in Holland MI is getting a rollercoaster!!! Jeff and I lived in Holland from 1995 to 2002 so DV was kinda our home park. I always thought of Michigan’s Adventure as my home park having grown up with it from way back in the 1970s as Deer Park Funland. RIP Mutley’s Putt-Putts (antique cars). DV’s new old coaster is a Miler Manufacturing kiddie coaster being relocated from Skyrock Farm in MN. It will be themed to the poem Wynken, Blynken, and Nod.

So am I the only one of my rollercoaster friends who back in the day built DV into a super-mega thrill park in RollerCoaster Tycoon? I gotta get back to playing that and/or Parkitect.

I’ve never looked into John Cougar Mellencamp’s politics. I don’t need to now. At a concert Saturday in NJ he paused during the third verse of Pink Houses — the part with “vacation down at the Gulf of Mexico”. Pausing he said “Wait a minute. The Gulf of Mexico? Is that right? It’s not the Gulf of America? What a stupid fucking idea.”

Yup he got that right. The Federal Register in 2025 when this was done claimed there would be no costs associated. That seems like a stretch, but, maybe within the federal government itself. As for state/local, think about in schools. They’d need all new maps on the walls if those are still a thing, all new text books, etc. Some 3rd party projections have put that at $50million or more. I’m sure our cash strapped schools had nothing better to spend that on.

peachy has had warning signs erected outside some of the Smithsonian Museum buildings indicating the displays and other content within has bias. I think his signs are more about his and his base being made uncomfortable by a majority of the facts presented there.

peachy, Netanyahoo, and Zelensky held an Oval Office meeting yesterday. No press were allowed. This comes in the wake of peachy’s comments that the US involvement prevented Israel from being “terminated”. It also comes on the heels of this past weekend and yesterday’s merry go round regarding the US munitions stockpile.

Like everything else this admin is involved in it’s simultaneously in many statuses.

The depleted stockpile isn’t depleted. It could be better but everyone should blame Biden. There’s no problem, nothing to see here, it’s all nonsense.

The blame Biden there is the admin stating the Biden admin gave too many missiles etc to Ukraine. I bet that made the meeting even more interesting.

Per this morning’s reports on the meetings, he’s backed off his criticizing Ukraine and is now supporting them getting access to Patriot defensive missiles. Interesting… Of course, that opinion will change to the opposite in 5, 4, ….

I haven’t seen any info on any other substance coming out. Nothing about what was discussed with Netanyahoo other than the weird picture of the 2 of them.

Last night Iran attacked US bases in Jordan again. The media on this is calling these suprise attacks. WTF!?! We’re in a state of not-a-war-whatever-the-fuck-it-is. How can anyone be suprised when one side launches ordinance? All of the missiles were successfully intercepted per CENTCOM. Hopefully no deaths or injuries resulted.

Consequences That Should Have Been Obvious

Back in 2024 around the time of the debate with Biden peachy trotted out this one: “‘Darling, we’d like to watch the debate tonight.’ ‘I’m sorry, the wind isn’t blowing.’” He pulled it back out at the WH Correspondents’ Dinner.

I think it needs an update. How about “It’s now super expensive to gas up the car or buy food cause the oil and fertilizer ain’t moving!”?

His not-a-war-whatever-the-fuck-this-is Iran Pholly has effectively cut off the Straight of Hormuz to shipping. That’s now spreading to the Red Sea route with the Houthi’s attacking shipping there.

He’s shut down, often at a huge cancellation cost, numerous alternative energy projects.

Wouldn’t it be nice if we had many, many more of those wind turbines, etc, and natural fertilizers available now? If not now, soon. Maybe he should think about restoring the funding for these projects. Nah, how would he and the oil billionaires that helped put him in office buy more golf courses, yachts, mansions, etc?

Actions have natural consequences. Sadly too many of us are able to insulate themselves from their own actions’ consequences. Those of us without the means to do that suffer instead.

I’ve been super-achy for about 2 weeks going now. At it’s worst I’ve been using my damn cane in the house a lot. That makes for not so fun since Schwarzie’s terrified of it for some reason. Sunday was an AI trueet barrage that’s been covered by the media quite a bit. I’ll leave it with my usual question. How much of our fresh water lakes and other resources have to be wasted to make fake silly pictures?

It also went on to say the “Dumocrats” would remove the filibuster on “day one”. Interesting so is he conceding the Senate in the upcoming midterms? The trueet ended with “Remember, stupidity always brings LOSING & DEATH!”. Not again dammit! If I substitute “willful ignorance” for “stupidity”, I agree with him on something! Not 100% sure about the “death” but...

The Ds had the Senate prior to 2025-01-01 and did not even attempt to remove the filibuster. What makes him think they will this time? Personally I don’t agree with doing so. It’s the only thing keeping the SAVE Act from being rammed thru right now. That example, and, many past historical ones that I’m too lazy to go find convince me it’s a useful tool.

If caring for others in need, leveling the playing field, etc, and most importantly stop fucking killing humans and other beings is all these things they see as horrible, then I’m horrible and perfectly content to be.

Oh I’m not a Democrat either. I’m left of the Ds on most social issues and right of them on some fiscal stuff. I am currently registered that way tho; changed it for the primary. It’ll go back to NPA after. They aim this ish at Ds cause they think it’ll get their base to turn out more of course.

Lettuce Write About Lettuce & Other Tainted Foods

What’s left of the DOGE gutted CDC has added more states to those categorized as having an outbreak of Cyclosporiasis due to the lettuce. Welcome to the list Illinois, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Pennsylvania. They join Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia. This NY Times article is also the first in which I’ve seen a particular variety of lettuce identified: iceberg. Per their statistics 1947 infections and 98 hospitalizations. It then goes on to say the CDC is investigating 11,500 total cases. I assume then the 1947 are those they’ve definitively linked to the TF lettuce. Regardless the true number is much higher. Most peeps will treat it at home and move on which escapes the reporting system. Furthermore, the state of MI reports 8176 cases and believes that to be an undercount. The CDC’s stats seem odd to me now with the MI count that high.

An update on my “Eat Lettuce, it pairs well with eggs from TX” jestful retort. I used it online over the weekend in response to someone/somebot’s parroting the admin’s dumocrats, low iq liberal, … talking points, went further to say I “needed to be beat down by ICE” and then had the unmitigated gall to respond to me that I shouldn’t “lash out” at them. Their mirror needs some repairs! In any event thanks for the idea for a much longer post at some time in the future. Or not, who knows?

Needless Domestic Killing Section

The state of FL is scheduled to kill 2 humans today merely 6 hours apart. James Duckett is scheduled at noon and Dominick Occhicone, an 80-year-old, at 1800. I won’t mention the victims names here because I don’t have permission to use them. It’s not some nefarious more empathy for the perpetrator thing.

Their crimes are horrific of course. Duckett was convicted of murdering an 11 year old in 1987. Occhicone was convicted of a double murder of his ex-girlfriend’s parents, also in 1987.

I’ll never be able to fathom how killing is somehow justice for their crimes. The so-called death penalty is pure revenge blood lust and state sanctioned murder IMO. Gov DeSantis is so out for it that 2 in one day is apparently necessary.

IMO, reality is there can never be any true justice for those left behind after a murder. Revenge won’t fix anything. Remove the perpetrator from society and keep them where they cannot kill again. Sadly that and empathy for those left behind is the best we can do.

One of the headlines I didn’t get to yesterday was some quotes from Israeli PM Netanyahoo. Oy! The Iran war will end when “the Iranian regime falls, or weakens to such an extent that it understands it must end its nuclear program”. This was said in an interview on Sunday 2026-07-26 on Fox News.

He also said an Iranian nuclear weapon would be a “mortal peril to every citizen in the United States” and Israel will “pursue all the means to prevent that”. He’s certainly an expert in mortal peril. He’s caused enough mortal perishing in his time as PM.

He’s riled up lately because of the NY City Mayor’s comments that he wouldn’t be welcome. Mayor Mamdani has backed off the idea of arresting Netanyahoo as a war criminal. Dammit!

The Pentagon has restored the 4 recently killed US Service Members to its war casualty database. That’s a good thing and I suppose it invalidates the excuse of them being killed during a not-ceasy-ceasefire that had been thrown around. The CNN headline on this leaves confused me: “Iran war casualty count eclipses 600 as Pentagon quietly changes accounting”.

I can’t be the only one who thought this meant they revised the death toll to > 600 can I?

I may be wrong here though. I think I’ve always seen the media use “casualty” as killed. However, the Merriam Webster dictionary definition says “a military person lost through death, wounds, injury, sickness, internment, or capture or through being missing in action”. Now I’m even more confused. How is a being lost thru injury/wounds/sickness? I’m taking lost to mean un-alived though not missing.

In any event, their revised numbers are now 18 dead and 624 wounded since 2026-02-28. This update represents a significant increase in the number of injured. They’ve also added a nifty new tracking category “Overseas Operations” to be used for killed and wounded “starting July 7 2026”. Per the Pentagon though, all reports since that date will not specify the conflict in which they occurred.

The significance of that date is that’s when his peachyness declared a new conflict with Iran began per a War Powers notification sent to Congress. That’s of course cause there’s a 60 day window in which military operations must cease without Congress’ authorization. 60 days from 2026-02-28 was 2026-04-29. Did we begin a new conflict then too!?! I don’t recall seeing such notification but may have missed it. Math says even if so, that 60 day window would have expired 2026-06-28 a few days before July 7. Ooopsss!

All of this fuckery means going forward it’ll be completely unclear for what conflict/war/pholly any US Service Member was injured or lost their life. Confusion and obfuscation won’t change the fact that the injury of loss was needless and a direct result of this administration’s deliberate actions.

I’ll still go forward with my 28 dead. That includes the 2 individuals who lost their lives early on in the Iran pholly at a US base due to needed medical care being unavailable. I also include the 8 killed in the B52 crash during a training mission for the Iran conflict. Had it not been an active thing, these humans would be alive.

No more attacks by either side overnight. That’s a damn good thing. I doubt it stays that way though. I fear the US pause is solely to move more munitions into the region. peachy stated he’s ready for “strong military action” if the current supposed negotiations fail. What reason does Iran have to negotiate anyway? An agreement gets reached and the US violates it or tries to alter it after the signing. Negotiations are built on trust and there isn’t any here.

Another weekend gone poof! Weekend days seem shorter than work days for some reason. So it goes…

New digs! Did y’all notice? I hope it’s not too inconvenient to click the link if you’re getting here via my long running Facebook posts. I’ve had a Substack account for ages for reading other peeps work. I started building out my page on and off back in late January early February. I decided I was being way too much of a perfectionist and to simply pick a day and make the move. Hope it’s worth it to reach my blue sky peeps once again and so that I have cool tools now like rich text formatting, inline links and images, and other stuff. I have no intentions of ever charging for access to my week-daily and sporadic weekend dump of whatever falls out of my head. If Substack puts some sort of pay me link or something on here, ignore it! Also, let me know and I’ll try to figure out how to get rid of it! I outta pay y’all for my daily writing therapy.

I had drawn a really nifty orange and blue, overpowered moving truck that I was going to use for my first post. I can’t now. With what happened in St Augustine a couple weeks ago, it’s poor taste and I ain’t feelin’ it anymore.

White House Correspondents Dinner

The re-do of the WHCD was Friday night. We happened to have MSNow on in the background. I moved where I could see the screen after I wrapped up my “I Really Do Care… Stop Fuckin’ Killin’” sign for Saturday morning. They were showing peachy’s speechy at the time but had him muted with producers watching real time and Jen Psaki delivering commentary.

‘Tis not supposed to be a peachy party (my name for his rallies) dude! It seemed to fall pretty flat. I found the dis-respect for our Constitution with that damn hat-red sick and disgusting but expected.

I did enjoy seeing one of the reporters that received the award for their work exposing the infamous birthday card utterly turning her back and walking away from him worthy of kudos, respect, whatever the right term would be. If only our media had done that starting when he came down that damn escalator back in 2015! Sadly, potential profits one out and here we are.

Potential Future Bombing or Invasion Targets

There was a bunch of saber rattling around Cuba again over the weekend. Apparently the Cuban government is funding my liberal actions and this writing. Okay, when do the checks start flowing in!?! Are they lost in the peachified postal service!?!

Has the US’ blockade that’s preventing the island from importing necessary to sustaining life supplies not caused enough suffering? Is direct military action coming? Do we not have our hands full with all the killing currently that we need more?

8. What’s the significance besides my old number from softball? Should the US attack Mali, it will be the 8th sovereign nation attacked by the peachy 2.0 admin. Mali’s a landlocked country in western Africa, had to look that up to confirm. Yeah still stinging from the Olive Garden photo id thing.

Why Mali? The admin claim’s there’s an al-Qaeda group, JINM, there. That group has claimed responsibility for a series of deadly attacks and kidnappings since announcing its formation in 2017. Hmmm... Who was president in 2017? If the group is such a threat, why wasn’t it dealt with then? Perhaps there were more sane advisors able to reign in the loonies?

Interestingly, Mali is one of the largest gold-producing nations in Africa. It is a member of an alliance of military-controlled governments with Burkina Faso, Niger, and others. They have cut Western ties and reached out to Russian forces for security help after military coups.

Are/have we not KILLED ENOUGH beings with the prior 7 countries? Apparently some think not.

Can we please run out of stuff to kill with since we’re apparently not going to run out of the desire to kill?

I suppose that comment about running out of killing supplies is a decent lead in to this section.

There were reports circulating over the weekend that the pausing in attacks on Iran, and that peachy had tabled plans to escalate further were due to running out or running critically low on interceptor missiles. They’d be unable to protect bases in the region from Iranian retaliation without these.

Whatever the reason, I’m grateful for the pause. If attacks are paused, no more beings are killed at least by this side!!!!

Writing of killed beings on this side… The most recently killed 4 US Service Members’ names have been removed from the official Pentagon count. They claim cause we’re in a “cease fire” currently so they can’t be included. WTF!?! (not strong enuf) WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK!?! They died due to attacks carried out in the region! Did they not? Are they actually alive and the dignified transfer, etc is all fake!?! Their deaths are not somehow lesser because of the supposed MOU and not-so-ceasy-ceasefire BS that peachy et al want to use as an excuse to make them look better!

It certainly doesn’t surprise me though. Nothing peachy et al do should. They don’t count the 2 early in the conflict who died due to being unable to receive needed medical care in an ongoing attack by Iran. They don’t count the 8 who died in the B52 training mission crash at EAFB.

No fucking respect whatsoever! I suppose my sign on Sat using Ms Trump’s coat and changing it to “I REALLY DO CARE DO U?” with “Stop FUCKIN’ KILLIN’” beneath it was maybe more timely than I thought. It’s well past time for those that care to act and speak out. I truly do believe that silence is complicity.

There’s some recently released footage of LG (Lindsey Graham) being so happy over the start of the Iran conflict “Look what we’ve done here. I almost cried! I mean, like, how long have we been pushing this?”

Oy! Ugh! Fuck! ‘Tis inline with his “killin all the right people” quote I suppose. I don’t like to speak, or in this case write, ill of those who’ve died. It ain’t cool, IMO. It’s getting fucking difficult with this crowd though. Really fucking difficult! I’ll say this then I suppose: May his corpse fertilize a tree or do some sort of good that he was unable to in his profession. That’s about as not speaking ill as I can get. Sorry! I’ll say 3 hail-universe-and-Mother Earth’s later to make up for it.

The Too Early Bitter End

I’m outta time again before the working must begin. I didn’t even make it to any of the notes, memes, etc. I had kept over the weekend. Or to more than the first page of posts in my news feed of headlines. So it goes… Time to find some tunes.

I hope y’all don’t mind the move. This thing has evolved from posting a quick 1 or 2 sentence quip on FB and Blue Sky to whatever it is now. IMO, it’s outgrown c/p-ing from my text editor to FaceBook. So I’ll try having it here for a while and see where that goes.
